Editorial Policy

In short: OilProcessingHub is neutral and evidence-led. We do not sell rankings or endorsements, we do not fabricate companies, reviews, certifications, specifications or data, we label figures as indicative with provenance, and we correct errors openly. These principles govern every page.

Neutrality and independence

Our content and directory are independent of any vendor. We do not raise or lower a company, machine, process or oil because of any commercial relationship, and we do not sell placement, featured slots disguised as neutral results, or endorsements. Comparisons present honest trade-offs and "it depends on your use case" verdicts rather than a fabricated universal winner. Where we ever have a commercial relationship that could affect content, we will disclose it plainly.

No fabrication — our hardest rule

We publish no fabricated information. That means no invented company profiles, contact details, customer reviews, certifications, machine specifications, data points or standards limits. Where a value is unknown or unverified, the page says so rather than filling the gap with a plausible-looking number. Engineering diagrams are drawn by us as schematics and labelled as such; we do not present AI-generated images as real equipment or factory photographs.

Indicative data, not professional advice

Quantitative figures — oil contents, yields, capacities, doses, temperatures — are published as indicative ranges drawn from published practice, and vary with seed, oil, equipment, scale and conditions. They are for planning and education and are not manufacturer specifications, engineering designs, legal advice, food-safety determinations or guarantees. For binding requirements, consult official standards, manufacturer data and qualified professionals. Safety, regulatory and standards topics are flagged as needing compliance with the applicable rules; we do not act as a safety or legal authority.

Directory listing policy

Supplier listings are compiled from public sources as reference base data. Details are self-reported or drawn from public web pages and not independently verified, and each listing says so and offers a way to claim or correct it. Listing is organized by category, country and relevance — never by payment — and is not an endorsement. We publish no reviews or capability claims we cannot source, and external links are marked accordingly.

Corrections and feedback

We treat corrections as essential, not exceptional. If a figure, statement or listing is wrong or outdated, tell us and we will review and, where warranted, correct and re-date it. Corrections from people with hands-on industry experience are especially welcome — a practitioner's first-hand knowledge outweighs a generic figure, and our aim is accuracy over appearance.

How content is produced and maintained

Content is researched from published agronomy and engineering references, standards bodies, extension and industry sources, then written as original, structured, cross-linked entities with provenance. It is reviewed against automated quality and neutrality checks before publishing (see methodology), and carries a verification date so staleness is visible and entries can be updated as better information emerges. Nothing here is a copied competitor page; where we reference public facts or ranges we restate them in our own words and mark them indicative.
