MANUFACTURER-PUBLISHED PRODUCT REFERENCES
Product families and process scope
Official product pages reviewed on 2026-11-01. These are selected documented offerings, not an exhaustive current catalogue or independently tested performance.
Additional official scope references: Oilseed Preparation | Quality Solutions Engineered by CPM; Canola/Rapeseed Preparation | CPM; Crown | CPM
Roskamp 1200 Series Cracking Mill
Particle-size reduction before further seed preparation.
The official product page specifically gives soybean applications. Roll arrangement and corrugation require a feedstock-specific selection; this mill does not itself extract oil.
Official product source: 1200 Series Cracking Mill | CPM
Roskamp SP Series flaking mills
Rolling prepared seeds into flakes.
The product page identifies oilseed use in the standard configuration. Confirm feed conditioning, roll selection and flake specification; other industry configurations are not interchangeable by default.
Official product source: SP Series | CPM
Crown Vertical Seed Conditioner (VSC)
Heating and moisture adjustment before extraction.
The official CPM page names canola preheating and soybean crack conditioning. This is preparation equipment, with residence time and heat-transfer duty to be agreed for the project.

Connect this supplier to a processing route
- Soybean — Explicit soybean preparation and cracking / conditioning references; agree dehulling, cracking and flaking duties before extraction.
- Rapeseed / canola — Official canola / rapeseed preparation route includes conditioning and flaking. Do not infer that soybean cracking is required for this small seed.
- Sunflower — The official preparation overview names sunflower preparation. Confirm the dehulling and flaking configuration and equipment list.
- Groundnut / peanut — Preparation-stage reference only: the selected sources do not establish a groundnut-specific configuration. Request a separate feedstock assessment.
What to confirm in a quotation
Provide seed and hull characteristics, required flake quality, moisture and thermal duties. CPM identifies Crown as its brand; the separate existing Crown Iron Works profile must not be counted as an independent corporate group on this basis. Confirm the legal supplier and brand-specific scope in the quotation.
Confirm current availability, configuration, local requirements, supply boundary and acceptance conditions directly with the supplier. Source review does not change this listing into a certification or endorsement.

Current catalogue, configuration trials and acceptance evidence
Reviewed 2026-11-02. Official catalogue configurations and published trial/project evidence reviewed; unavailable trial and acceptance documents are identified separately. Current website listing is not stock or delivery confirmation. Trial services and historical project accounts do not establish acceptance of your proposed line.
Models and configurations currently described
Roskamp 1200: SPX / DPX 1200-24 through 1200-72
The current specification table lists SPX and DPX 1200 variants with 24, 30, 36, 42, 52 and 72 suffixes, distinguishing single- and double-pair options. The headline and body use different capacity descriptions; obtain model-specific soybean/feed sizing rather than applying the headline to every variant. Catalogue dimensions are not installation drawings.

SP flaking mill: 2800-52 / 2800-62 / 3200-72 / 3200-78 / 3200-84
The current SP Series table lists these five variants. Select roll size, feeder, roll material and conditioned-feed/flake requirements for the actual oilseed; the catalogue table is not a guaranteed throughput or flake-quality result for all four routes.

Crown VSC vertical seed conditioner
The current CPM page lists the Crown VSC family, with heating/air sections and residence-time control, and identifies canola preheating and soybean-crack conditioning applications. It does not enumerate five distinct order codes; request the quoted size, sections and temperature/moisture duty. This remains Crown technology within CPM.

Published trial support
Waterloo testing lab and shared CPM | Crown Innovation Center
CPM lists a Waterloo lab serving oilseed and other industries and a Blaine CPM | Crown Innovation Center/Liquids Pilot Plant. Confirm the actual SPX/DPX, SP and VSC equipment available and which crop/process steps the proposed trial covers. The Crown facility is the same group resource described in the separate Crown profile, not an additional independent supplier or trial site.

Project evidence and its limits
CPM | Crown GIC facility description, February 2026
The February 5, 2026 news describes CPM | Crown’s Global Innovation Center and Liquids Pilot Plant for controlled testing, sampling and scale-up. It is supplier-owned facility material, not a named customer installation or a signed acceptance report for the preparation machines listed here.
Official facility description published February 5, 2026; not a customer commissioning date.

Public acceptance evidence status
No complete readable signed customer FAT/SAT report or project acceptance dataset was obtained from these selected sources. CPM and Crown references share a corporate technology and trial network; their profiles are not counted here as independently verified plant capability.
Documents and conditions to agree for your project
Editorial requests for project selection and agreed testing; these are not a manufacturer-issued acceptance standard.
- Request the exact SPX/DPX, SP and VSC order codes and a feed-specific capacity basis resolving the different published capacity descriptions.
- Agree trial equipment, seed condition, particle/flake specifications, conditioning duty, sampling and the written scale-up report.
- Request general-arrangement/interface drawings, FAT/SAT checks, deviations and signed acceptance criteria; identify CPM/Roskamp/Crown responsibilities.
