Product families and process scope

Official product pages reviewed on 2026-11-01. These are selected documented offerings, not an exhaustive current catalogue or independently tested performance.

Lion Expeller press series

What to confirm in a quotation

Identify the intended extruder/press combination and ask for crop-specific test data; the Lion rating table’s extruded-soy basis is not a universal guarantee.

Confirm current availability, configuration, local requirements, supply boundary and acceptance conditions directly with the supplier. Source review does not change this listing into a certification or endorsement.

MODEL · TRIAL · PROJECT EVIDENCE

Current catalogue, configuration trials and acceptance evidence

Reviewed 2026-11-02. Lion models are listed in current official product material; confirm build slot and exact revision directly. Current website listing is not stock or delivery confirmation. Trial services and historical project accounts do not establish acceptance of your proposed line.

Models and configurations currently described

Lion 600 / 1200 / 1600

The live product page and currently hosted press brochure list all three sizes. The September 2025 announcement anticipated Lion 1600 availability in Q1 2026; that old forecast is not an order confirmation. Current website and brochure ratings differ, so no single capacity or residual-oil figure is adopted.

Stow Mini Expeller feasibility studies

A September 2026 supplier article describes a restored pilot press used for feasibility work at Stow. It describes scale-up as a subsequent development aim; this is not a full-scale Lion acceptance test or a newly offered production model.

Article dated 2026-09-09, updated 2026-10-13; manufacturer-described R&D activity

Project evidence and its limits

MIDIKA toll/pilot crushing project

The supplier application sheet describes a Mexico pilot/toll plant with Super Duo 600, DOX 450 and on-site analysis. These are project-specific arrangements, not proof that its results apply to a Lion 600/1200/1600 line.

Supplier application sheet dated 2023-12; historical project account

Public acceptance evidence status

No signed factory-acceptance or site-acceptance report, agreed performance protocol or customer-signed test dataset was present in the selected public sources. This is a limit of this review, not proof that the supplier has no such records.

Documents and conditions to agree for your project

Editorial questions to agree with the supplier, not a manufacturer-issued acceptance standard.

  • Request one revision-controlled specification resolving product-page versus brochure performance ratings for the selected model.
  • Distinguish mini-pilot feasibility, Super Duo/DOX project experience and the proposed Lion production configuration.
  • Agree feed preparation, run duration, sampling/analysis basis and written performance acceptance before treating a test as a contractual result.

Public evidence: configuration and test-record follow-up

These additions qualify public supplier evidence. They do not establish stock, a buyer-material result, serial-number traceability or signed FAT/SAT acceptance. Requests below are editorial procurement questions, not supplier promises. Existing dossiers and source limits remain applicable.

CRC soybean case: equipment count and commissioning sequence

Evidence class: Named manufacturer project account; original acceptance records pending

The April 2024 CRC application sheet identifies two DOX 1200 extruders paired with two 12-inch screw presses at Somerset, Kentucky. It separates project requirements (300 TPD, meal residual oil below 8%, trypsin inhibitor below 8,000 TIU/g) from manufacturer-reported results (300 TPD, average residual oil 6%, 6,000 TIU/g). Page 2 describes dry checks without feed, staged commissioning with product, input/output checks and operator training.

Still pending: The press model, serial numbers, sample IDs, analytical methods, time window and signed records are not supplied. Do not assign these soybean results to Lion presses, the MIDIKA pilot, rice bran or another crop. The document identifier is not a drawing revision.

Official source and data request

Request: Request the press identity and as-built equipment list, commissioning check sheets, sample-linked residual-oil/TIU reports with moisture basis and methods, run duration and signed release. Separate capacity requirements from measured sustained-run evidence.

Soybean meal: coded commercial-lot samples and analytical methods

Evidence class: Manufacturer-hosted analytical study; machine mapping and originals pending

The Nelson Ruiz white paper dated 18 November 2025 reports nine samples from nine commercial mechanically extracted soybean-meal lots: four from one plant, five from other sources. Tables 1–2 share sample IDs. It identifies Dairyland Labs for composition/KOH solubility, modified cryomill preparation, Eurofins for AOCS trypsin-inhibitor analysis, and University of Illinois amino-acid digestibility assays.

Still pending: Published sample codes are not disclosed production lot numbers. Equipment models/serials, lot-to-machine mapping, raw instrument exports, individual determinations, calibration files and signed reports remain unavailable. Sample 1701 has inconsistent dry-matter/protein entries in Tables 1 and 4; those values are not adopted. Do not assign all nine lots to Anderson equipment or merge this study with CRC commissioning or the separate broiler trial.

Official source and data request

Request: Request code-to-lot-to-machine correspondence, original laboratory files and method editions, replicate records, and correction of sample 1701. Agree project acceptance criteria separately.
